Ritual Hockey is an Australian brand based in Mount Martha on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. It was founded by Nathaniel (Nat) Nelson, who spent 15 years in management, retail and product development at international hockey brands before starting his own company. The gear is designed in Australia and tested by players with international experience. The company stresses that there are no generic sticks in its range: each model is built for a specific style of play.
Ritual sticks come in the 95, 75 and 55 series and the Revolution line, with Velocity, Specialist, Ultra, Finesse and Response models within them. Precision models are aimed at juniors and indoor play, and Reflex at goalkeepers. The range is completed by bags, gloves (such as the Vapor) and clothing.
