Naked Hockey (NKD for short) is an independent British brand founded in 2018 by three hockey players who wanted equipment engineered for the game rather than to a price point. The name reflects their approach: strip away everything that serves no purpose. In 2020 Felix Denayer, captain of Belgium's Red Lions and an Olympic gold medallist, became a shareholder, and his international-level requirements (bow position, carbon content) became the reference for the sticks. The carbon percentage is stated on every stick.
Naked sticks are built for a specific position and playing style: Elite (low bow), Supreme for all-round players, Extreme for drag-flick specialists, Dream for those who want power with a more traditional feel, Genesis and Prodigy for juniors, plus indoor and goalkeeper models. The range also includes protective gear, bags, accessories and club teamwear.
